Over the recent weeks, Bear Wolf has been acting strangely. Paddy Kirk is concerned for his father. In Thursday’s episode, Paddy Kirk was worried, so he tried to talk to his father about his feelings. However, Bear Wolf didn’t open up. No one knows what is wrong with Bear Wolf. He feels like a burden on Paddy Kirk and Mandy Dingle. He has also been feeling lonely.
This week, Paddy Kirk gave him a motorbike to fix up. Things got more messed up. Paddy thought that Bear would be busy with the motorbike, which he has named Gloria, but the situation got complicated. He scattered the parts of the vehicle in the house. But then Paddy asked Cain Dingle to offer Bear Wolf a place in the garage.
He agreed, but soon Bear Wolf got frustrated and took out his anger on Kammy Hadiq. Paddy came and tried to stop his father. Then he went home and acted as if nothing had happened.
Fans Suspect Bear Might Be Battling CTE!
The soap fans have shared their thoughts on Bear’s behaviour. They suspect that the soap could bring up the CTE plot. CTE stands for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. It is a condition caused by repeated blows and head injuries. It can lead to psychological problems and even dementia. The condition is usually seen in people who play sports. Bear Wolf, being a former wrestler, would have developed the condition.
Some of the fans wrote on Reddit that Bear has depression and dementia. Another fan wrote that such a storyline would be very different from other soaps like Corrie and EastEnders. Another viewer mentioned that CTE could come up as Bear was a wrestler. Elsewhere, earlier, the soap’s producer, Laura Shaw, hinted that Bear Wolf will disappear for some time.
