April Returns—But Everyone’s Tensed

Next week, April will be back in the village after weeks of being missing since Christmas day. Marlon and the whole family were already neck-deep in troubles and have now been duped for his money. Though he was initially trying to hide it from the family, Ross encouraged him to come clean and accept the real reason behind the black eye.

Later, Ross informs Rhona that Marlon has agreed to take a step back from April’s search and focus on his health and family. Ahead in the week, we will see PC Swirling inform Marlon and Rhona that April has finally been found. While there is an initial relief, the joy quickly takes a turn as her tragic story is revealed.

Face Off Between Brothers

Next week, tensions are about to rise between half-brothers Caleb and Cain as Caleb accuses Cain of having an affair with Ruby. Despite Cain’s denial, Caleb keeps pressing for answers to the allegation. Unable to hold onto the act, he soon put the blame on Anthony for implying the affair. We are already aware of Cain’s ability to deal with pressure situations. Our theory is—he might soon end up confessing.

Joe’s Shocking Truth

Things are getting out of hand for Charity Dingle as she can’t control Noah from mingling with Joe. Joe assures Noah that his campaign of posting bad reviews won’t backfire, tempts him with his lifestyle, and even promises a job in Dubai.

Meanwhile, Joe’s affair with Dawn is still on, and he even demonstrates his painkiller withdrawal. But Kim has some suspicions and questions Joe—however, he uses the painkiller addiction story to quell her suspicions. Later, Joe and Dawn share another heated moment of passion while Charity stumbles upon evidence on Joe’s laptop as Kim comes in.

Leyla Struggles With Isolation

Leyla Harding feels lonely as her efforts to engage with others in the village fall flat. Though she makes an effort to host a Valentine’s raffle— she doesn’t get enthusiastic responses, which leaves her feeling rejected. Later, when Suzy Merton and Belle Dingle decline her invitations to make food plans, her isolation grips her more. We are already aware of Leyla’s exit from the soap, and we can’t help but speculate if this heartbreaking storyline is going to be her exit plot.
