In Friday’s instalment, Gabby practised her flirting skills with Ross Barton’s half-brother, Lewis. After talking to him, she said that she knew exactly how to get Ross’s attention. Then Ross found Gabby waiting for him in a satin gown after she had called him for an urgent job. When Ross made a joke about feeling like he had walked into a Playboy mansion, she began taking off the robe to show her lingerie underneath.
She asked him if she could warm him up. Ross told her to put the robe back up and have self-control. When Gabby continued to flirt, Ross shut her down. When he said that he was seeing someone, she was embarrassed. Later, she confided in Laurel but was unaware that Ross was interested in her.

In the upcoming episodes, Dawn walks into the cafe and tells Ross that, as he has turned Gabby down, she has been crying into a glass of wine. Ross tells her that he is sad for Gabby, but he is into someone else. Meanwhile, Laurel, who is sitting nearby, is happy when her lover Ross tells Dawn that he is with someone else.
Elsewhere, Laura Shaw teased that Gabby Thomas will face a big issue. She will face an eating disorder. Gabby will try to eat clean, but that will turn into an obsession after the heartbreak.
