When DS Reid interrogated Dr Todd, she twisted the story, claiming that the sex was consensual. Thus, she had to free Dr Todd. Later, DS Reid arrived at Charity’s house to give her the update. The police claimed that Dr Todd told her that everything was consensual.
Furthermore, Charity’s physical examination came back inconclusive. Thus, there was no evidence to support her. Dr Todd left the village, claiming that she had got a new job in Sheffield. Now, Charity is dealing with her trauma. In today’s episode, it was Moses’ birthday. However, Charity found it difficult to celebrate her son’s birthday.

When Mack was out, Charity was alone and upset. When he returned, she was crying. She told her partner that she didn’t know what was bothering her. Mack told Ross about it, but he thought that it was the baby, Leyla, that Charity was concerned about.
