Will Laurel Thomas Survive Her Health Crisis?
Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) might face her departure in the upcoming episodes. After a heated argument with her husband, Jai Sharma, Laurel fails to breathe properly. It all starts when Jai reveals that he was the reason behind Amit Sharma’s departure.
However, he admits he can’t bring himself to tell his half-brother Suni Sharma the truth. Later, things get worse when Jai insults Ashley, and Lauren orders him to leave. However, soon after, Laurel starts to feel dizzy and collapses on the floor. Fortunately, Gabby Thomas sees Laurel struggling and calls an ambulance right away.
Meanwhile, Jai finally decides to tell Suni the truth. He sits him down in The Hide and tries to start the tough conversation, but he gets hampered by Gabby’s alls. Finally frustrated, Jai picks up the call and panics as he hears that Laurel has collapsed. Viewers must recall Amit came out to Jai’s father, Rishi Sharma’s killer.
Growing suspicious, Jai got a confession out of Amit by pushing him down the same stairs. Seeking revenge, Jai then forced Amit to cut his other son, Suni, out of the ownership of the HOP. He even Jai told Amit to leave the village forever. But later, Eric Pollard starts blackmailing Jai to keep quiet.
When Laurel began suspecting Eric, Jai confessed a twisted version of the story. Regarding the current storyline, actor Chris Bisson hinted that Jai’s darker side would be coming back. He mentioned that Jai is likely to become more ruthless.
