But now, Joe-Warren Plant, aka Jacob Gallagher, has revealed complete details about his special episode, which will air around the New Year. Jacob will begin his hospital placement, and per the spoilers, he will be pinned to the A&E department. Now, it’s worth seeing whether he can survive amidst such tensions.
What Joe Shared Regarding Jacob
We heard from Joe-Warren Plant earlier that this episode would mark a special milestone for Jacob. As far as we have seen him onscreen, he studied day in and day out, spending his days with textbooks and revisions to reach this point. Now that he is getting hands-on experience, it can be a great opportunity. Though we will see Jacob turn up for the first day very excited – we even see him take a selfie and all for the socials – but what will happen when he goes into the A&E department?
Joe adds that it’s a great moment for Jacob, and he wants his friends and family to tag along. However, things start to change as soon as he reports to Dr. Todd. It’s usually up to Dr. Todd to prep the new trainees – she is, by far, the one with the most experience. Though he gets a bit intimidated initially, he seems excited as his dream is about to be fulfilled. But the heat builds on as soon as he approaches the A&E department.
While Jacob is obviously overwhelmed, Joe talks about his own offscreen experience shooting on a new set. He describes how the new collaborators were perfect at replicating the chaotic hospital environment. Furthermore, he recalls the first day he wore scrubs and how it made him feel different.
