The latest Emmerdale spoilers reveal that a couple will soon appear in Jacob’s special episode. As previously revealed, the episode will air on January 2, 2025, focusing on his first day of medical placement in the A&E department. The episode will focus entirely on the chaos and reality of the A&E department, where medics work under high pressure to handle serious injuries and emergencies.
Couple of the Special Episode
Spoilers suggest that Cain and Moira will be the couple to appear in Jacob’s special hospital episode. While Jacob will work there as a trainee, we will see Moira for her latest appointment. As we are already aware, Moira had to undergo surgery to remove her brain tumour. However, previous episodes confirmed her treatment would continue as she needs radiotherapy. Though Cain wasn’t aware of radiotherapy initially, he is now there for Moira.
When Moira comes into the hospital, she gets distracted and spots Jacob as a trainee there. But soon, she makes her way to the radiation oncologist to discuss her further treatment plans. Next, we see Moira getting emotional thinking about the challenging phase she will have to go through again. Meanwhile, Cain gets busy with an elderly patient who reminds him of his dad – which disappoints Moira again as he wasn’t waiting for her outside the doctor’s room.
Since the Emmerdale bosses announced Jacob’s special episode, there has been a lot of buzz. When asked about his experience regarding the special episode, Joe said that was the first thing Sophie told him when they met. Initially, he was in sync with all the emotions, but the pressure to get it right at once hit him when he considered how many real people go through the same pressure every day. Joe accepted that he initially found it challenging to hear about the storyline. Eventually, he felt really honored by how everyone had kept their faith in him.
