Emmerdale Spoilers recall that life has truly been tough for Moira and Cain in the recent past. Their lives turned upside down when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor that needed to be operated on. The recent episodes saw Moira Dingle going into surgery for the removal and the effect the tough situation had on Cain Dingle. He made the terrible decision of hooking up with Ruby at the time.
Unfortunately, Cain’s bad decisions did not stop there. He deliberately avoided Moira’s important appointment at the hospital. She was due to receive her pathology report in the Wednesday episode, but Cain decided to abandon her. However, he changed his mind in the last minute and started to race towards the hospital. Sadly, fate had other plans. On the way, Cain was arrested for erratic and aggressive behaviour on the journey.
After spending a night in prison, Cain was released. PC Swirling and his colleagues rationalized that he has gone through a lot due to Moira’s tumor and surgery. Therefore, they let the transgression pass and let him go. Unfortunately, this hiccup also did not put Cain back on the path to good decision-making. After getting released he hid out in the allotment rather than going home and facing Moira.
The Beginning Of The End?
Later, when he finally managed to muster up the courage to go home and face her, he decided to tell her the truth about Ruby. However, Moira stumped him by declaring that she did not want to depend on him anymore. She informed him that the doctors told her that she needed radiotherapy to limit the chances of a tumour returning. She pointed that there was a lot of other information that the hospital gave her, and that’s why she wanted him there.
Unfortunately, Cain failed her. “I can’t trust you, Cain. I never want to be in that position ever again,” she told him. Furthermore, she added that she won’t be relying on him any further, and that she will go through all her treatments alone. Cain was really stunned by Moira’s declaration. But will she stick to her words? Or is there anything that Cain can do to win another chance?
