The soap fans know that Victoria killedJohn Sugden in the crossover episode. She has been feeling guilty for killing him. Furthermore, Joe blackmailed her and Robert.
Thus, Robert had to plant evidence on Moira’s farm, which led to her arrest. In the next week’s instalments, Victoria learns that Robert had planted evidence in Moira’s home. She is horrified to know the truth.
Victoria hates herself for what she did to John. However, before finding out Robert’s truth, she confesses everything to Cain about her role in John’s death. But the truth messes up her plan. However, the police ruled that John died by suicide. Meanwhile, Joe threatens Robert to plant evidence of his own to incriminate Moira if he doesn’t comply. Victoria overhears their conversation.
Then Victoria confronts Robert, who tells her that she would have been in danger if he hadn’t planted the evidence. Then Victoria tells Joe that she will go to the police to protect Moira. However, she takes the paperwork away, but Joe tells her to deliver the signed contract with Moira’s signature within six hours, or he will hand the video of her killing John to the police.

Thus, Victoria goes to the prison to meet Moira and asks her to sell the farm as it’s impossible to manage. This shatters Moira, but she agrees.
However, just as she is about to sign, Victoria reveals the identity of the owners. This is very shocking for her as she has been trying to protect the Butlers’ farm from the Tates for a long time.
Though Moira is close to giving up, Robert refuses to be beaten. Robert is on his knees in Annie’s Field. He promises that he will restore the Sugden name to its former glory.
