The soap fans know that Kerry loves money-making schemes. She tricked her boyfriend out of his expensive jewellery during a cruise ship scam. Furthermore, she is a part of the tax evasion scheme as Eric married her. However, she still knows the difference between right and wrong.
In the upcoming instalments, Kerry’s boyfriend leaves the village, so he tells Kerry to take care of Archie. She leaves work early to pick him up from school. But Caleb scolds her for being lazy at work. Later, Kerry is furious as he praises Billy for bringing in new business.
Furthermore, the next week’s instalments show Caleb receiving a phone call from his daughter Steph, who asks for money from him. Caleb shares his bank details with Billy, asking him to send the money for the deposit on the London flat. Billy does the task. However, there is an unexpected twist. Ruby tells Chas that Steph is currently in Thailand. Thus, it is clear that it is not Steph who asked for £5000.
Kerry Risks It All In A Shocking Scam Plot
Later, it is revealed that it is Archie who scammed Caleb. He has generated an AI version of Steph’s voice. Furthermore, the money lands in his account. However, Kerry catches him listening to AI and also finds out the money in his account.
Elsewhere, Laura Norton, who plays Kerry, opened up about the storyline. She confronts him. She asks for an explanation as she is confused. Kerry thinks all this is creepy. Kerry tries to do the right thing initially. But after confronting Caleb, she changes her mind. He is rude and doesn’t let her speak. Kerry decides that if he is going to treat her badly, she won’t let him speak. She realises that she has an advantage in the situation and starts planning for revenge.
However, the scam will be out soon. The soap star also hinted that Kerry and Jai might not stay together. Laura said that the characters are so different.
