Kev has returned to the village. He assisted in getting a kidnapped Lewis back from a woman called Kylie. Kev sang Father and Son by Boyzone and disclosed to Lewis that he is his biological father. Lewis said that he doesn’t want to do anything with Kev.
However, before leaving the village to spend time with his adoptive dad, Lewis told him that he hoped he would have gone by the time he was back. In the latest episode, Lewis returned home. He talked to Vinny and Nicola. Lewis ignored Kev’s efforts to try to get his attention. He had to pay him attention when he referred to Lewis as his son.
Kev’s Plan To Win Lewis Ends In Disaster!
As he exited his bakery van, Kev removed a piece of material from the front. He told him that he had changed the name to Barton’s Cake Tin. Lewis asked Kev to change it back. He was further shocked when his biological father told him that his official name is now Kev Barton.
Lewis wasn’t impressed and told him to leave him alone. However, the problem with the gesture didn’t make much sense. Kev should have explained the reason behind his decision. However, later this week the story takes a turn. Kev meets Lewis and tries to bond with him. He opens up about his past. He explains how he became such a wrong’un. Kev adds that the name change protects Lewis from a tragic background. Then Ross angrily walks in, but Lewis changes his mind. He decides to give him another chance.
