Laura Shaw Announces Two Mystery Arrivals Soon?
Laura Shaw recently revealed that the soap fans will welcome two fresh faces in the coming months. They will arrive later this year to strengthen two of the show’s families, the Tates and the Sugdens.
The soap’s producer said that she plans to add the members to the two families. But the soap fans are unaware of their connections with the existing characters.
She disclosed that at the end of last year, she wanted to cement the families in the show. Laura said that everyone always talks about the Dingles, but she feels like building up other families. Furthermore, Laura Shaw also revealed that the return of Joe Tate in 2024 was designed to strengthen the Home Farm estate owners.
Laura Wants To Strengthen The Families!
Joe returned to the Home Farm with Kim after stealing Caleb’s kidney. The soap’s producer explained that the story cemented Kim and Joe as surrogate mother and son. Thus, it was important for her to build up the Tate family.
Laura Shaw also shared that similarly, they brought Dawn and the kids to strengthen the family. However, they were missing the father of the family. So they ended up bringing Graham back.
The show also wants to highlight the importance of Sugdens. Currently, the only Sugdens in the show are Robert and Sarah. She has been trying to build Tates and Sugdens. Laura Shaw also said that though Isabel Hodgins, who played the character of Victoria, left the soap to be on maternity leave, the producer added that Sarah remains part of the family’s legacy.
