He arrived as the estranged husband of Robert Sugden and the biological father of Lewis Barton. Kev fled the village after putting Robert and Aaron in danger. He also betrayed John Sugden and ran away. Kev also thought that Lewis was better without him.
Meanwhile, the sources claim that he is returning. Laura Shaw said that Chris Coghill is most definitely back by popular demand. She added that there is a lot of unfinished business and drama ahead. Lewis is still unaware that Kev is his father. Chris Coghill also said that he is happy to be back and he loves playing Kev.
