However, Dr Todd twisted the story, claiming that the sex was consensual. She pushed Charity to withdraw her complaint before leaving the village.
Before exiting, Dr Todd bid farewell to Vanessa and Manpreet, who had been duped by the trainee doctor’s boss. She is unaware of Jacob bullying and Charity’s sexual assault. In the latest episode, Charity went to Manpreet to seek help for her mental health. However, she didn’t close the reason for her struggle.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Sarker, who plays Manpreet, had an exclusive chat with Inside Soap. She said that her character would be shocked to learn about the villain’s crimes. Dr Todd was Manpreet’s senior registrar when she was training to be a doctor.
She had observed a bit of paranoia while talking to Jacob. However, she thought that, though Dr Todd was divorced and hurt, she was a talented physician. Manpreet doesn’t know how awful Dr Todd is. She would be horrified to know the truth. It would shatter her illusion.
Elsewhere, the soap star added that she is also keen for some romance. Rebecca said that it would be nice for Manpreet to find love, not least because it would develop into a story for her. She added that couples such as Nicola and Jimmy, Cain and Moira have shared life experiences together.
However, the soap actor also loves how free and unattached her character is. But she can also feel lonely at times. Rebecca Sarker added that both situations have their own advantages.
