Jacob almost turns pale when a stabbed victim comes into the A&E department as he recognizes April’s purse on the young girl. Soon, he jumps to conclusions even though he couldn’t see the patient’s face. Fearing the worst, he calls Marlon to be prepared for the worst as his daughter has been seriously injured. Marlon is shocked and soon rushes to the hospital with Rhona.
Meanwhile, As soon as Jacob’s supervisor learned about this, he got a warning for breaking the protocol with his unauthorized call. However, things get worse for Marlon as the victim passes away during the surgery. Thinking of the victim as April, he is devastated. But when they later went in to identify the body, it turned out they were put through an unnecessary grief. The entire blame went on to Jacob, who badly messed things up as he faced further repercussions from Dr Todd regarding April’s unexplained link to the victim.
Later, Marlon brought up the possibility that April could have been responsible for the victim’s fatal injury. Though Rhona didn’t believe that April could carry a knife, Marlon wasn’t sure about that, especially after April’s weird behaviour.
In the meantime, when Anna confirmed that finding April was their top priority, Marlon ended up expecting the worst and said, “Because you think she’s a murderer.” Is it really possible for April to commit such a brutal crime?
