“He definitely is going to regret it,” Emmerdale star Joe-Warren Plant previews Jacob’s future. We know that April is currently in the limelight of a heated up storyline. After a massive showdown with her father, she has gone missing. Now, Joe has revealed that Jacob is going to get pulled into April’s disappearance storyline. In the January 2, 2025, episode, Jacob does his first shift the A&E department.
It is then that Jacob and Dr Todd receive word that a stab victim is about to be wheeled in on Emmerdale. “In that moment, she comes to Jacob and asks him what vital signs do they need to be looking out for. At first, he is a little bit flustered but he does eventually gain composure and tells Dr Todd exactly what they need to be looking out for,” Joe-Warren Plant explained.
The actor pointed that even though Jacob is prepared, he just starts to feel the pressure build on him. Things get even worse when sees the stab victim’s purse has a bank card with April’s name on it. Jacob is shocked when he realizes what is happening. April had been missing since Christmas Day. Jacob feels torn in the moment. He knows that if he calls up Marlon and tells him, he will be breaking hospital protocol and confidentiality.
Jacob Is Reprimanded
Joe points out that Jacob has known Marlon all his life, and he knows how worried he and the rest of the villagers are. “So the fact that he has some information that Marlon could use is really the overriding factor at this moment in Jacob’s mind.” Furthermore, the young soap star teases that Jacob will get in trouble in the upcoming scenes. “He definitely is going to regret it,” Joe confirmed.
Dr. Todd reprimands Jacob for his actions. But he made a spur of the moment decision. Joe explains that Jacob tries to explain his actions to her.
