In the previous episodes, Caleb learned about his illegal kidney transplant and hit Joe where his kidney was stitched. They both reached a stalemate when he learned that Joe knew the mystery about Anthony’s disappearance.
Several villagers gather at Kim Tate’s house in the upcoming episodes to celebrate Lydia Dingle’s wedding. However, the celebration soon turned to a feud. The soap’s producers have said that nine suspects want to take revenge on Joe Tate.
Ned Porteous, who plays Joe Tate, reflected on his character and said that people hate Joe, but he makes people hate him by the way he acts. He said that Joe puts himself in tricky situations that are difficult to handle. Ned opened up on an illegal kidney transplant. He said that if Joe had taken the legal path to get the transplant, he would have died.
He was forced to put people in danger so that he could save his life. The actor shared that he didn’t know much about the upcoming storylines at first because it wasn’t part of the main plot.

Ned shared that there would be an interesting storyline ahead. He added that the party scenes were fun. Though it could have been a stressful environment, his co-actors are lovely. He shared that at Home Farm, he feels free in the work environment rather than stressed. Ned described his fellow actors as talented and amazing.
