Ross Confronts Kev Amid Lewis’s Ordeal!
Ross Barton receives a warning that Lewis has been kidnapped. The kidnapper says that Lewis will remain in danger unless his father returns an item known as Penny. Ross warns Liam against involving the police. He insists on trying to find Lewis’s adoptive father, Jeffrey. But they are unsuccessful. Liam reveals Kev is Lewis’s biological father.
Then, Kylie approaches Ross and confirms she has been holding Lewis captive and refuses to release him until Penny is returned. Liam tracks Kev down, selling cakes from a van. But Ross is frustrated by his dismissive attitude. Kev claims that Penny is nothing more than a diamond. He sold it to a pawn shop years ago. Ross is to ask him to buy it back. But when he is alone, Kev reveals that the diamond is hanging around his neck. Meanwhile, Ross receives another warning from Kylie. The message features an image of scalpels.
Later, Kylie video calls Kev directly and issues a final warning to return the penny. She reminds him of the eight years spent in prison. Though Kev initially claims that the pawn shop has already sold the diamond, he later claims that he has found it. Ross knocks him unconscious. He tells Liam that Kev is now their insurance policy. Then Ross goes to meet Kylie.
Charity’s Emotional Collapse And Caleb’s Anger!
Elsewhere, Charity and Cain reflect on their pain. Charity tells Cain to speak openly with Moira and Liam. But when he tells her to do the same, she refuses. Meanwhile, Mack tells Chas that he doesn’t know how to help Charity. Later, Mack tries to have another conversation with Charity, but she refuses.
Then Charity gets into her car and speeds away. She is alone beside a remote lake. Charity is close to emotional collapse, so she ignores Mack’s calls. Meanwhile, the villagers can’t find Charity. Mack decides to go to the police. Charity hears something at the lakeside. A stranger sees her and approaches her, asking her to open up. However, when she reaches out to touch her, Charity reacts and punches her.
Charity apologises, but the stranger realises that the reaction has come from a deeper issue. She soon starts to trust her while Mack tells the police about Charity’s disappearance. He also asks a difficult question of Chas.
Caleb’s Anger, Jai’s Suspicions, And Serena’s Entry!
Meanwhile, Caleb is more suspicious. He pretends to offer Archie paid AI work at the depot. Then Caleb finds a folder named Steph. When Caleb confronts him, Archie blames Kerry. Caleb confronts her. But as she begins to explain, he refuses to listen to her.
Kerry argues that Archie is the mastermind. Caleb tells her that she could be imprisoned, but Kerry also threatens him. Elsewhere, Jai is curious when he sees Caleb and Billy appearing close, while Caleb has his own theories about Jai and Kerry.
