Though they also kissed each other, Aaron ended up marrying John Sugden, while the police arrested Robert Sugden for breaking the law. But Robert is dubious of John and will protect his lover at any cost. John Sugden is afraid of his past actions, including the murder of Nate Robinson. He killed him by giving him a medication which led to a side effect, eventually leading to his death. Later, he dumped his body in the lake.
Furthermore, John Sugden also tried to kill Aidan Moore, who woke up from the coma. However, he later changed his mind, but Aidan himself went into a coma again. He has also tampered with the medicines of Chas Dingle and framed Ella Forester for it. John framed Mackenzie Boyd for the slurry leak. Recently, he framed Tracy Robinson for Nate’s murder by keeping Nate’s phone in Frankie’s playhouse.
