Lydia ends up arguing with her husband. She orders him to beg Jacob to rehire him. Thus, Sam is forced to ask Joe for another chance. But Joe refuses, so Lydia decides to handle things herself.
She confronts Joe and tries to appeal. But he refuses. However, Kim steps in. But Lydia is sad and disappointed as she feels that Kim is taking Joe’s side. Though Sam made a mistake, she can’t see that Joe is also at fault. She starts doubting Kim, especially after learning that she has donated to the Christmas fayre.

Then Sam suggests a risky plan. He plans to use Home Farm for a shooting party without informing Kim. Lydia agrees and tries to distract Kim at the village fayre. Thus, Sam gives rifles to the guests so that they can hunt. Though Sam observes that Vanessa has seen him, he continues with his plan. But Vanessa ends up telling everything to Kim, who goes to check in.
Elsewhere, the guests are more demanding, which makes Sam think that he has made a mistake. He regrets his decision. However, the situation takes a worse turn as the spoilers reveal that Kim is lying on the ground, wounded. It seems that she is caught in the crossfire of some stray bullets. There is nobody around.
