Anthony sexually abused Ruby, and even her daughter, Steph, was conceived through abuse. To seek revenge, Ruby killed him. However, when Steph learned the truth about her biological father, she has been trying to cope with the pain.
She even confessed to Aaron that when she looks at herself in the mirror, she finds Anthony staring back at her. Steph also got so tense that she went to the woods where Anthony’s body was buried and started digging for it. She learned that John hadn’t buried his body there.
In the upcoming episodes, Steph decides to reduce her pain and the best thing to lessen it is to get surgery. However, no one knows that she is planning to make such a drastic step. When Caleb informs that she is going for a holiday, Caleb gets suspicious. He checks her laptop to get the flight details and learns about her mysterious surgery plan. The couple gets anxious, and the couple quickly reach the hospital. As the surgeon makes his final preparation, the couple reaches and stops Steph.
When Caleb reaches home, she gets angry and smashes the pots in the kitchen. Ross Barton learns about the situation, and he tries to stand by her side. But when he says something, Ross breaks down. She abuses him, but he stays calm.
