Steph’s Permanent Departure Confirmed!
Georgia Jay played the character of Steph Miligan in the soap. She joined the village in 2024 as the daughter of Ruby and Caleb Miligan. The character was involved in many dramatic plots. However, when she learned a shocking truth, she was devastated. Steph found out that her mother, Ruby, was abused by Anthony.
Furthermore, even she was conceived through abuse. Thus, she started hating herself. Steph even wanted to get plastic surgery done as she saw a reflection of Anthony in herself. However, Caleb and Ruby stopped her. Later, Steph was heartbroken to know that Ross had slept with Manpreet. She broke up with him. Later, she left the village.
Away from the soap, Georgia Jay is on maternity leave. She gave birth to her daughter, Nora, last year. The former soap star also announced it on social media. Though everyone thought that it was a temporary exit, it has been confirmed that she has permanently left the village to focus on motherhood.
Archie Is The Culprit!
Elsewhere in the upcoming episodes, Steph’s exit story begins as Billy Fletcher helps Caleb with some new business. Then Caleb receives a call from Steph, who asks for money. Caleb tells Billy his bank account password, asking him to secretly transfer £5000 for a deposit on a London flat.
Meanwhile, Chas talks about Steph to Ruby. She mentions that Steph is currently in Thailand with her new boyfriend. Thus, it is confirmed that it was not Steph who called Caleb. Later, it is confirmed that the person behind the call is Archie. The soap fans will see him listening to an AI version of Steph’s voice. Even Caleb’s money is transferred to his account.
