He told her that Kev protected him when the other prison mates attacked him for his sexuality. The soap viewers learned that Kev is a wealthy man who is terminally ill. So Robert wants to inherit his cash after his death.

The soap fans will see the moment when Robert first met his husband, Kev. In the next week’s scenes, Robert tells the story of his transfer to Hotten nick to his sister and Aaron.

A flashback episode shows Robert being taken to his cell, where Kev pins him against the wall. Then he asks him the reason for the arrest. He laughs when Robert tells him that it’s for the murder. But Kev is impressed when he explains that he killed his sister’s rapist. Then Kev says that he is in for armed robbery. But he reveals that he was framed and is innocent.
Elsewhere, Ryan Hawley, who plays the character of Robert Sugden, has promised many twists and turns ahead. He opened up about the plot. The actor said that he didn’t know that he had a husband in prison when he came back, and then someone on the set told him that his husband was coming into it.
Then Ryan met Chris, who is playing Kev. Ryan was nervous as everyone already knew him. However, the scenes went really well. Chris was brilliant in the scenes.
