Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert Sugden in the soap, opened up on the upcoming plot. Ryan Hawley revealed that John Sugden comes to visit Robert. They argue with each other, but as they are in prison, they can’t do anything as Robert is in prison. Meanwhile, after Victoria tells Aaron that Robert Sugden is having a hard time, he decides to visit his ex in prison. Aaron Dingle risks his marriage, which happened just a few weeks ago.
When Robron starts to sit face to face after years of emotional turmoil, Robert Sugden starts feeling hopeful. Ryan Hawley said that Robert gets excited when Aaron visits him. He hinted that it will be a special episode and only a few members will be a part of it. He added that it is a fantastic plot. Meanwhile, in the prison scenes, Robert tells Aaron that he loves him, but Aaron tells him that the killer, John, is the right man for him.
John Visits Robert Sugden!
The Emmerdale actor added that Robron hadn’t been in touch for six years, so it is an emotional episode as a lot of things will be revealed. Robert tells him that he will leave him alone, but the story takes a turn when John comes to visit him, and gets shocked that Aaron came to see Robert. To provoke John, Robert shares that if their father, Jack, were alive, he wouldn’t have accepted him. He adds that he and Aaron kissed before their wedding. John gets furious, telling him that he has no idea what he could do.
Then John fears that he is losing control, and Robert gets convinced that he is hiding something. Ryan shared that Robert vows to return to the village, and he is determined to expose Koh Sugden. Furthermore, when he gets out, he delightfully tells the couple that he is back. He goes to the couple’s flat and tells them that he wants to spend some time with them.
