Actor Alexander Lincoln is best known for playing Jamie Tate on ITV’s Emmerdale. The young actor played the troublemaker debuted on the soap in 2019, and bowed out in 2021. Thus, it has been a while since we saw him as bad boy Jamie. But just because he wasn’t in the limelight on our TV screens, does not mean he was up to nothing.
His hard work and acting prowess have landed Alexander Lincon a meaty role in a big Hollywood production alongside a Mean Girls fame actor. He will appear in a movie alongside actor Jonathan Bennet who famously played Aaron Samuels in the cult classic movie. The Emmerdale alum will be playing his love interest in their upcoming collaboration.
The production is a big Christmas movie for Hallmark. A source told The Sun that the opportunity is a big one for Alex and will open his career up to bigger opportunities in Hollywood. “It’s a really smart move after doing Emmerdale and a lot of indie movies. It’s going to put his name on the lips of casting directors in America for sure,” the source stated.
In fact, the source close to the production thinks if everything goes well, “he could become the biggest British soap star in America.” As of now, not much is known about the movie. Even the tile of the film is under wraps. Looks like Alex really has a lot of great things coming up for him. Apart from the movie, he will also star as the lead character Oliver in – On A Winter’s Night.
