Frazer Hammill Dies By Suicide!
Frazer Hammil made an appearance in Emmerdale. He played a prison guard in the soap opposite Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy in the show. He was confirmed for a role in September 2021. Besides the soap, Frazer played a detective constable in Happy Valley. He also appeared in The Heart of Thomas Hardy.
However, the soap star was found dead at his Doncaster Home on December 30, 2025. He left a note on his neighbour’s door with the keys. Frazer Hammil told his neighbour not to go into the house but to call the police, as he had committed suicide. Furthermore, the talented star had also left messages for his friends and family, a day after being arrested by Lancashire Police.
Meanwhile, the custody officers told Doncaster Coroner’s Court that when Frazer Hammil left the police station, he seemed to be happy. The coroner added that he died by hanging. He passed away at his home on December 30. She also revealed that the star was a single man who was close to his family members.

Elsewhere, the police and paramedics arrived at his flat just after 2 pm. However, Frazer Hammil could not be resuscitated as he died at 2:13 pm. The police looked at his notes and said that the death was intentional. Frazer had put thoughts, planning and intentions into his actions.
Meanwhile, his sister, Caroline Hammil, said that his death was a complete shock to the family. She said that no one knew about the actor’s mental health struggles. They were not aware that Frazer was low enough to end his life.
