Natalie Ann Jamieson played the character of Amy in the soap. She was known for her rebellious teenage years. Amy also had a tumultuous relationship with her mother, Kerry.
Her prominent storylines included becoming pregnant with Cain’s son, Kyle. Later, she fled and reconnected with Kerry. She also formed a relationship with Matty and married him in 2024.
However, Amy left the soap last year after she was killed off in the lino crash. When the limo was riding in with the other female characters, it swerved off and fell into an icy lake. Amy tried to cross the land but ended up falling into the water. Later, she died in the hospital. She told Matty that she had loved him one last time.

Natalie wrote in the caption that Olivia drove halfway across Yorkshire to rescue her when she was hit by a Lorry. She added in the caption, RIP little red car.
Furthermore, Natalie confirmed in the comments that no one was injured in the accident. Olivia added a red love emoji along with two red car emojis in the comments. Meanwhile, Natalie’s former soap stars were concerned. Ash Palmisciano, who plays Matty, said that they were glad they were fine. Her fans were also relieved that she was okay.
