Rachael Gill Davis played the role of Gail Loman in the soap. Her character was in a relationship with Ryan Stocks. However, she was not content with her life in the village. She believed that she could do more. Furthermore, when Gail realised that her relationship with Ryan was not working well, they decided to have a break-up. Then Gail left the village to do a new job in Devan.
After her exit, the soap star took to Instagram to pay tribute to the show. She said that the two years were crazy and expressed gratitude to everyone for their support. She felt wonderful meeting the fans. The actor added that it’s been lovely bringing a bit of humour to the screens now and again. She also expressed gratitude to the makeup department, casting department, editors, supervisors, and all the cast and crew.
Furthermore, she expressed gratitude to the writers and directors, especially Simon Ferguson. Rachael said that she had met lovely people on the soap. The star added that she has grown so much as a person and is excited for further things.

Elsewhere, the actor’s fans learned in June that Rachael was busy rehearsing for a play called Saint Joan by George Bernard Shaw. Meanwhile, she has started teaching students at MetFilm School, Leeds. She said that she is passionate about helping aspiring actors to believe in themselves. The former Emmerdale star said that some drama schools lower the confidence of the actors, while MetFilm helps in lifting them.
The students carry booms and cameras down the corridors. So the place is creative as well as challenging.
