Emmerdale Star Teases Drama; Asks Audience to “Stay Tuned”

Emmerdale Star Georgia Jay who plays Steph Miligan, took to Instagram to tease the upcoming twists on the ITV soap and we couldn’t be more excited. Steph has been at the centre of the soap’s plot along with her mother, Ruby—now, what new twist is coming in?

Georgia has hinted at big scenes that fans must expect as she encourages the viewers to “stay tuned” by sharing a mirror selfie. The post has triggered a lot of responses from the fans and Beth’s comment on the post, “Beautiful” only garnered more attention. The onscreen mother-daughter duo of Ruby and Steph have kept us on the edge of our seats and it seems like there’s more to come in the upcoming episodes. 

We already know about the tragic life of Ruby, who was raped by her own father, Anthony, when she was just 16. As if that wasn’t enough trauma for Ruby, recently, she has developed major suspicions about Steph’s paternity. Till now, everyone knew that Steph was Caleb’s daughter—but after confiding in Chas, Ruby has opted for a DNA test.

Though Ruby has been waiting for the DNA results anxiously, she can’t hide her anxiety. Later, when she sees her daughter bonding with Caleb, she decides to tear the reports apart. But unfortunately, as it turns out, Caleb already found the reports in her handbag and misunderstood Ruby. He thought that Ruby probably cheated on him and conceived Steph with someone else. 

Caleb kicks Ruby out of the Mill Cottage but Steph has no clue about it—because both decided to hide it from her. Later, Chas comes in to inform Caleb about what happened to Ruby, and he can’t help but regret his decision. Will Steph finally find out the truth about her paternity?
