We know the end is near for Tom King on Emmerdale. The sneaky and abusive villain had been outsmarting everyone for months. He has successfully pulled the wool over many eyes in the village. But the latest spoilers confirm that by Christmas day, Tom’s truth will be out in the open for everyone to see.
However, the big question is, how? He is convinced that he has destroyed all incriminating evidence that could take him down. In fact, in a recent episode, he very confidently bragged to Belle Dingle that he is sure to win in court. So, what will be his undoing? Could it have to do something with a certain character who witnessed Tom destroying the evidence?
Emmerdale spoilers recall that in one of the recent episodes, Tom’s little cousin, Carl Jr, saw him destroying the tablet that contained incriminating evidence against him. Thus, it is possible that after Tom disposed of the device in the trash bin, Carl retrieved it and hid it somewhere safe.
At a later point, the little kid may tell one of his parents, Nicola and Jimmy, about the tablet. After all, there has to be a purpose why that angle was added to the storyline. It can’t just be a random act to put Carl at the window watching Tom break the tablet. Moreover, if Carl did save the broken device, there is a possibility that Nicola or Jimmy may be able to retrieve the evidence from it by hooking it up to a computer, or by pulling the data from it.

The video recordings in it should be enough to make the whole village see Tom for who he really is. Moreover, it will also be evidence enough to back up Belle’s claims that she was being abused by Tom, while also exonerating her from all blame and suspicions!
