Todd Blackmails Charity!
Jacob is trapped in a workplace bullying storyline. After Dr Todd’s return, Jacob’s life has turned into hell. He has been finding it difficult to manage his personal and professional life. Todd leaves no chance to berate and blame him. When the trainee doctor performed CPR despite the DNR order, Todd humiliated him. He was tearful and left the place.
However, recently, the trainee doctor gained some strength and filed a formal complaint to HR. He reported Todd to HR. He accused her of bullying. Thus, Toddd has been trying to save the reputation, but she might be successful as she knows Charity’s secret.
In Thursday’s episode, Todd visited Charity’s hospital room. She threatened to expose the baby’s secret. She said that she would reveal that Jacob isn’t baby Leyla’s biological father. Todd blatantly said that she would not reveal the secret if Charity convinced Jacob to drop the complaint.

Todd added that she was not blackmailing. In fact, it was a favour. Furthermore, it would be awful to destroy their happiness because of this. Thus, Charity told the trainee doctor to withdraw his accusations against Todd. She added that he would be better working with her than against her.
Jacob was influenced and told the HR that he didn’t want to take the complaint further. Though Jacob had almost made up his mind, HR rep Carol informed him that he wasn’t the first person to complain about Todd. She said that many people have approached her, and she wanted someone to make it official. Carol was hoping that Jacob’s complaint might have helped others to take a stand.
