In Tuesday’s episode, many villagers gathered for baby Leyla’s christening. Cain and Lydia were the sole Dingles to arrive at the church. Chas asked them where the rest of the family was. Cain told her that Moira was at home looking after Isaac, who was sick. Sam was busy fixing a dodgy clay pigeon shooter. However, later he came to the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Aaron Dingle also didn’t attend the ceremony. This was because he had been on holiday with Robert Sugden. Though the pair had returned, Aaron Dingle went to get scrap. The soap fans know that in real life Danny Miller has been filming the new series of The Celebrity Apprentice for the past few weeks. Thus, this is the reason Aaron has been absent.
Robert Meets Kev And Serena!
Robert was alone to encounter his prison husband, Kev, who had returned. Robert told Kev that he was now engaged to Aaron. However, Kev apologised to Robert for his past actions. He even offered him a divorce. It is a big relief for Robert as he can officially close Kev’s chapter in his life. He can finally marry the love of his life, Aaron Dingle. Thus it is a good sign that Kev has moved on. Now, he has no plans to trouble Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden again.
Meanwhile, Robert Sugden also met his distant cousin, Serena Sugden, who had recently arrived in the village. They talked at the farm. Then Robert invited her to stay for a while so that she could meet Aaron Dingle.
