Dr Todd came back this year as Jacob’s boss. She made his life hell by berating him for small mistakes, lowering his confidence and making him doubt his career. She also framed his being obsessed with her. Finally, Jacob got frustrated and filed a complaint about Dr Todd to the HR department.
When he went to the HR, she told him to open up and revealed that she had bullied others too. She added that Jacob’s complaint could strengthen the case. However, Dr Todd told Charity to convince Jacob to drop the complaint. She had to do so as Dr Todd had learned that Jacob wasn’t baby Leyla’s father.
She blackmailed her and demanded money. But her latest act shocked the fans. Charity Dingle sexually assaulted her. Charity reported her abuser to the police. But during the investigation, Dr Todd twisted the story, claiming the sex was consensual. Then she left the village, telling Vanessa that she was going to Sheffield for her new job.
Why Didn’t Jacob And Others Fight Back?
Meanwhile, the soap followers took to social media to share their views about Dr Todd. A soap fan asked on Reddit why Jacob and other interns who were bullied by Dr Todd didn’t ban her. They could have looked into no-win and no-fee lawyers for a civil lawsuit against her.
