Victoria planned to invite John’s army friends to the party as he had no one. So, in Tuesday’s episode, she met John’s old army friend, Connor. When she talked to him, she found out John’s secret. Victoria was shocked to learn about Aidan Moore’s truth. She discovered that he wasn’t dead but was in a coma and was currently at a hospital in Leeds.
He disclosed one more secret – John and Aidan were engaged, but they tried to hide it from their colleagues. Though he attempted stabilising Aidan after the explosion, he couldn’t succeed.
In recent weeks, viewers saw John’s true personality as flashbacks revealed that John was hiding a lot of secrets. He framed situations to prove himself as a hero to others.
He tampered with Chas’s medicines and also gave an anaphylactic shock to John. Besides that, the medic also accidentally killed Nate Robinson while saving his life after the fire at the barn. He also tried to prove himself at the job after Liam caught him not working properly.

After talking to Conor, Victoria confronted John and said that she thought it would be nice to invite friends to his stag party. However, she disclosed the truth that she had learned he was engaged to Aidan. She added that as he is alive, she visited him at the hospital. Victoria asked him the reason for telling a lie.
John replied that he was full of regret for saving him, as his mother had to see him in a miserable condition. He shared that the man who was full of life has no chance of recovery. He said that he made the wrong choice by saving him, as he has trapped him in a living death. Victoria assured him that it wasn’t his fault. He told her to keep it a secret from Aaron, as he didn’t want him to see him as a liar.
