Lisa Is Excited About The New Project
Back in 2017, Lisa Faulkner was the one who portrayed the character of Fi Browning in the BBC soap. And presently, she has teamed up with Kym Marsh in the stage adaptation of the suspense Single White Female. And ever since the news was revealed, fans have been excited.
Lisa herself is happy to be a part of this project. And she got the opportunity to work with Kym Marsh. She is excited to return to the stage. And that too with someone she clearly respects. Lisa always wanted to take roles that were bold and sharp. She had even watched the original film in the cinema years ago. And now she hopes to bring the same tension to the audience.
The thriller is from the 1990 novel SWF Seeks Same by John Lutz. And there was a tense relationship between the two women. And now Kym and Lisa will be stepping into those roles. Marsh will take a character requiring a roommate. Elsewhere, Lisa will play Hedy, who is the woman who moves in.
In the story, Allie is a divorced single mother who needs cash. And she opened her home to Hedy. However, they face huge problems. Elsewhere, this new version is written by Rebecca Reid. And Gordon Greenberg will direct it. This play will open on 9 January 2026 at Brighton’s Theatre Royal. It stretches across the UK and Ireland until June. They will also move through several cities. It includes Nottingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Dublin and Malvern.
