Calum Lill, who played Joel Deering on the ITV soap, revealed that he and his fiancée Roberta McClarron have welcomed their first baby together. Calum Lill shared the exciting news on Instagram with a series of adorable pictures of himself, Roberta, and their newborn daughter. The couple also revealed their baby girl’s name, Primrose.
The former Coronation Street actor wrote, “We’re very tired but happier than ever. Thank you to our family and friends for all your support. You’ve been amazing and we’re very grateful. And to our beautiful baby girl, you are perfect.”

Joel was murdered by Lauren Bolton in one of the show’s biggest storylines. Even after his exit, Calum later returned briefly in July for a special appearance during Lauren’s hallucination scenes.
His character became one of the soap’s most talked-about villains, so fans closely followed his storyline right until the end. Now, many of those same viewers have been celebrating his happy family news online. After leaving Coronation Street, Calum also posted a touching message for his fiancée Roberta.
