EastEnders: E20 actress Emaa Hussen is in trouble after allegedly trying to smuggle 320kg of meth into Australia. The former soap star was caught in a massive £160million drug bust in Sydney.
Now, the jailed performer will face life in prison after police raided a local home. Meanwhile, here is how the shocking international drug bust unfolded.
Former EastEnders Actress Emaa Hussen Is Arrested
A former British television actress will face a lifetime prison sentence after an international narcotics investigation in Sydney. Law enforcement officials have intercepted a ‘multi-million-pound’ shipment hidden inside everyday cargo. And they tracked the illicit goods directly to a residential property where Emaa was taken into custody by local detectives.
The major criminal investigation began at Port Botany when protection officers x-rayed a suspicious consignment of charcoal arriving from Ghana, West Africa. Well, inside the shopping containers there were white crystallised substances that tested positive for methamphetamine.

In fact, it had an estimated street value of nearly $300 million. Later, law enforcement allowed the delivery to reach a storage facility in Girraween to monitor who came to collect the cargo. Emaa Hussen, who played Naz in the soap spin-off E20 had unpacked the shipment with other suspects.
Later, the group travelled directly to a house in Blacktown where police officers moved in to execute a swift raid. Also, detectives found thirty-two bags inside the property that matched the packaging used to conceal the narcotics. Hence, the 34-year-old actress was immediately ‘arrested’.
The Suspect Awaits A Summer Court Hearing
After the raid, investigators seized a notebook and various electronic devices from the home to know the full scale of the smuggling syndicate. Also, the local police revealed that stopping the shipment successfully prevented over three million individual drug deals from reaching vulnerable communities.

In fact, we can tell that these syndicates go to extreme lengths to hide illegal substances inside normal goods like charcoal. However, specialist training allows officers to see straight through these concealment attempts.
We also have the information that Emaa has been denied bail and taken directly to a local jail. She will be behind bars until an official court appearance takes place this coming August. Also two other individuals from Adelaide are attached to the same smuggling case. For more EastEnders spoilers and updates keep following Soap Opera Daily.
