It’s never easy to open up about one’s medical issue. But former EastEnders star Lisa Faulkner has bravely opened up about her recent health battle after being diagnosed with the early stages of ‘breast cancer’.

EastEnders Star Lisa Shares A Health Update
Television actress Lisa Faulkner has revealed a serious health update after she received an early breast cancer diagnosis. The former soap performer updated her social media followers regarding a significant medical operation that occurred a fortnight ago.
Also, a follow-up treatment plan is still required. Despite that Lisa is relieved over the initial surgical results. Lisa discussed her recent medical crisis online with her digital audience.
The star added, “I’ve had to have surgery because I’ve had the very early stages of breast cancer. I had surgery two weeks ago, and it was quite a big op, but it’s all good, and I’ve had my results back, and they’ve got everything out, and so it’s all clear and I just need now to have some radiotherapy in a few weeks.”
But the best part is despite such a lengthy physical recovery ahead, Lisa has reassured her fan base that she is feeling stronger each day.”
Lisa Encourages Regular Medical Screenings
The mum-of-four married culinary presenter John Torode in 2019. And now she wants people to know the necessity of routine hospital check-ups. In fact, credit was given entirely to proactive scanning, with Lisa saying, “I’m so grateful that I went for my mammogram. Don’t put them off, go, because they found this and without that mammogram, it wouldn’t have been picked up.”
She also showed immense appreciation for the National Health Service. Well, Lisa played the sophisticated businessman Fi Browning and her final stint concluded in 2017. Also, it was officially confirmed that she would have a guest role on the soap, not becoming a permanent resident of Albert Square.
In fact, she was later revealed to be Sophie Willmot-Brown. She was the daughter of the notorious classic villain James Willmot-Brown. Later, she left Walford to start a new life away from her family’s toxic legacy.
