Anthony Quinlan played the character of Pete Barton in the show. He was a part of the soap from 2013 to 2020. He was involved in drama, love triangles and family conflicts. Pete’s relationship with his family captured the fans’ attention. Peter had a rivalry with his brother Ross and Debbie. He dealt with the loss of his father, James and his brother Finn.
Pete was stuck in a life triangle between Debbie Dingle and Ross. Furthermore, the character’s imprisonment was a significant plot point. Later, he went to prison. After returning, Pete decided to leave the village.
Since his departure, the former soap star has been focusing on building his fitness and personal training business. Recently, Anthony also landed a new gig. He will be seen in the next series of Time on BBC One.
