Former Emmerdale Star Chelsea Halfpenny Makes Stunning West End Debut!

Emmerdale star Chelsea Halfpenny, who played Amy Wyatt, left last year. The former soap star is ready for her new project. She will be a part of a musical adaptation of Tim Burton’s movie. Chelsea will play the character of Barbara. Keep reading to find out more details.

Chelsea Halfpenny played the character of Amy Wyatt in the show. She was a part of many engaging storylines in the Dales. Chelsea was a part of the soap from 2010 to 2013.

She arrived by faking a pregnancy and was fostered by Val and Eric. Amy became pregnant at 17 with Cain Dingle. She gave birth to Kyle. However, she couldn’t take care of the baby, so she opted for adoption.

Amy left the village in 2013, leading her and Pollards to flee the village. Though she left the village, she came back and worked in a women’s refuge. But Natalie Ann Jamieson reprised the role. Amy was in a relationship with Matty Barton, and they got engaged in 2024. However, the character passed away in the tragic limo crash. 

Chelsea Halfpenny Makes Stunning West End Debut!

Elsewhere, away from the soap, Chelsea Halfpenny is ready for a new project. She has been cast in a musical adaptation of Tim Burton’s movie Beetlejuice, which was originally released in 1988.

Chelsea is ready to make her West End debut later this spring. She will play the role of Barbara Maitland. Geena Davis had played the character in the movie. 

Furthermore, David Fynn and Tom Xander will also be a part of Beetlejuice the Musical. It opens at the Prince Edward Theatre on Wednesday, May 20. Meanwhile, in the movie, the Maitlands are killed in a car accident and go to find their own house. Then they become friends with the new owner’s daughter, Lydia Deetz. Euphoria, Hannah Nordberg will play the role of the Gothic teenage daughter. Meanwhile, Alasdair Harvey will play Charles Deetz, and Aimie Atkinson will play Delia. 

Other actors who are a part of Beetlejuice the Musical are Chasity Crip, who has a double role of Maxine and Juno. Vanessa Aurora is reprising the role of Miss Argentina.
