Coming Home! General Hospital Comings And Goings Tease Kin Shriner’s Possible Scotty Return

General Hospital fans are buzzing over a possible Scotty Baldwin comeback. Kin Shriner, gone from Port Charles for nearly two years, just dropped a major hint. General Hospital Comings And Goings chatter is heating up fast. Could Scotty be heading home soon?

A Hint On The Walk Of Fame

Kin Shriner left General Hospital suddenly in August of 2024. Fans never got real closure on Scotty’s exit. Now, the actor is stirring things up again. He recently shared an Instagram photo with longtime friend Genie Francis at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, then tagged General Hospital directly in the caption.

That tag did not go unnoticed by fans. Many read it as a signal to GH executives. Scotty debuted back in 1965, making him soap opera’s longest running character. Shriner stepped into the role himself in 1977.

Social media exploded after Shriner’s post went up. One fan, @sonnycgirl, insisted that fans want Scotty back immediately. There’s also a real storyline reason for his return. His daughter, Serena, is heading back to Port Charles soon.

Kelly Kruger now plays Serena, after roles on two other soaps. Serena’s homecoming could give Scotty the perfect reason. Fans believe he might finally come back for her.

A Legacy Built On Drama And History

Scotty and Laura married back in the summer of 1979. Their happiness, sadly, did not last very long. Luke Spencer’s actions against Laura shattered everything soon after. Scotty has come and gone many times since.

Shriner has also been reminiscing about his GH days lately. He recently honored late producer Gloria Monty online. Monty famously saved General Hospital from cancellation decades ago. Her work helped turn GH into a cultural phenomenon.
