Brennan’s Mission Costs Him Carly’s Trust
At Turning Woods, Carly and Valentin made it clear their help came at a price: the truth about Josslyn. Brennan insisted he had no idea where she was and Carly believed him. She pieced together that Josslyn would never disappear without a cover story or a goodbye.
Someone had taken her. Brennan explained he needed Valentin to contact someone named Zee, adding that he could not reach out himself without risking Cullum discovering he was not actually locked in.

He told Sidwell to let the police handle it and call him if Pascal turned up. Sidwell showed the Deception crew out, his full attention now on finding his butler.
Lucy Talks Family as Tracy Watches the Boathouse
Back at the Quartermaine mansion, a disappointed Tracy took herself for a walk. Lucy told Brook Lynn she never trusted Pascal and felt terrible for being the one who brought Sidwell into Deception. Brook Lynn reminded her they had all made mistakes, including herself, and said she was choosing to focus on the future instead. Lucy shifted the conversation and said her priorities had genuinely changed. She really did feel like Phoebe’s mom now. Brook Lynn agreed it had been wonderful having Phoebe, adding that she and Chase were great together as parents.

At Bobbie’s, Kristina told Michael she had been accepted to UCLA medical school. Michael was stunned. She explained that since the accident involving the baby and Sam, she had wanted to focus on something meaningful. Michael said he was proud, called it courageous and admitted the hardest part would be having her so far away. They hugged.
