General Hospital Spoilers for Monday, May 18, 2026 kick off the week with Curtis finally facing the fallout from that Metro Court meltdown, a brand new detective making his Port Charles debut with handcuffs ready and Anna’s situation turning far more serious than anyone wanted to admit. Meanwhile, Josslyn is locked up and already planning her next move, and Emma is carrying something heavy that she can no longer keep to herself.
Curtis Gets Arrested and Portia Lets Him Have It
Friday’s punch has consequences. Spoilers reveal Port Charles will meet Detective Joe Fitzpatrick on Monday, and his first order of business may well be arresting Curtis at the Metro Court Gardens. Curtis lost control when he spotted Isaiah touching Portia’s baby bump, accused him of being the other driver in the accident and threw a punch in front of a room full of witnesses. Isaiah was simply feeling the baby kick. Curtis made a spectacle of himself anyway.

Portia is furious. Spoilers tease she will rush to Isaiah’s side and turn on Curtis with everything she has. “What the hell is wrong with you?!” she demands in Monday’s preview. Isaiah could press assault charges with that many people watching. Whether he does may depend on how the next few scenes play out. Jordan and Justine, meanwhile, continue their conversation nearby, and spoilers hint Jordan will press Justine about a certain Corinthos who keeps showing up in her life.
General Hospital Spoilers: Anna’s Condition Is Worse Than Anyone Feared
The news from France is not good. Laura will sit down with Mac and Dante at the PCPD on Monday and deliver an update that lands hard. Anna is in greater trouble than they realized. Her condition at the psychiatric facility has been deteriorating, and she has reportedly made escape attempts. Nobody is saying the word out loud yet, but the implication is clear. Anna could disappear before anyone can get to her.

Spoilers tease that Ava will have her own questions elsewhere, turning to Nina and pressing her on when exactly she got so close to Jack Brennan. Ava finds Nina’s level of investment in Jack’s medical situation genuinely difficult to understand. Nina, of course, has very good reasons she cannot share.
Emma Confesses and Josslyn Schemes
Emma has been holding it together on the outside. On Monday, that facade cracks. General Hospital spoilers suggest she will open up to Felicia and admit she thinks something is really wrong with her. Anna’s breakdown has hit Emma harder than she has let on, and she may be hiding the full extent of her pain from Gio. There is also quiet speculation circling about whether Emma’s concerns could be something more personal than grief. Felicia will be the first to hear what Emma has been carrying alone.

Across town, Josslyn is locked up but anything but helpless. After getting Cassius to open up more than he has in months, she makes a grim discovery in captivity. Cassius warns her plainly that she is not going anywhere. Josslyn looks straight at him and says “We’ll see.” Fans who know Josslyn already know that is not a surrender. Gio, lighter on his feet than anyone else this week, gives Sonny the chance to say “I told you so” about his return to music. Sonny, generous as ever, says he is simply glad to see Gio doing what he loves.
Monday in Port Charles opens with a punch, a new detective and news about Anna that nobody wanted to hear. The General Hospital Spoilers for Monday, May 18, 2026 suggest this week builds fast and hits hard from the very first scene. Curtis may have started something he cannot finish, and Josslyn is already working an angle from inside captivity. Every move, every arrest and every confession is covered at Soap Opera Daily.
