This you-snooze-you-lose thingy holds so true for Scott Reeves who just made a comeback on General Hospital. His character, Steven Webber who last appeared in 2013 was summoned back by Curtis Ashford to deal with none other than his notorious mum, Heather Webber. Yep, the ex-serial killer who never seems quite ready to leave town. But before we could process Scott’s return- POOF, off he went! How does the actor feel about the loose ends?
Here’s Why Steven’s Exit Isn’t So Final
The last time Steven graced General Hospital, he got in big trouble for “borrowing” a comatose inmate’s heart to save a patient. That move put him behind bars, but he came back! The ABC soap recently welcomed Scott and boy was he assigned a complex task! Surprisingly, Reeves’ Steven managed to whisk Heather away to Sedona, Arizona. Wow!
Meanwhile, Curtis made an interesting offer, mentioning he could help Steve get his medical license back. We’re not sure if that’s part of the deal but he sure seems to have something waiting for him back in Sedona. During an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Reeves joked about Steven’s not-so-clean slate. All these “under-the-table deals” are cracking the GH actor up.
He’s like, “Wait a minute, I just got out of prison, and now they’re trying to pull me back into these nefarious activities!” And for what? To haul his crazy mom out of town? We wouldn’t blame him cause his stint was packed with typical Port Charles drama and double-dealing. “It was left very open-ended,” Reeves said.
Furthermore, the GH stalwart noted that Steven was pretty wary during his stay. He was constantly looking over his shoulder and practically hiding behind Heather! He did try to blend in as much as possible but his nervous vibes were written on the wall. But guess what? While Reeves was here for a fleeting moment, he is all in for a comeback to explore more of Steven’s plot.

According to him, Steven’s story could take so many wild directions. “There’s Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), there’s his sister, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Steve’s mother is on the loose again…” Scott explained. Moreover, let’s not forget Heather’s juicy parting line. She gave baby Ace a playful “I’ll be back…” with a grin that could mean trouble.
