Harry and Meghan’s quasi-royal nature of the trip has caused frustration at the palace. According to sources, the Duchesses’ media presence has been a major barrier to any reconciliation. 

Elsewhere, Prince William is unsettled by the confusing vibe of Harry and Meghan’s international visits. And insiders claim that the couple is trading on old connections that are no longer appropriate for non-working royals. Sources say that every time Wales feels they have turned a corner regarding family drama, a project or a tour creates strain.
