High Court Delivers Major Blow To Prince Harry!

Prince Harry brought the case against Associated Newspapers along with others.

Furthermore, the judge dismissed Leveson Lies. There was an allegation that former Daily Mail editor Paul Dacre and other staff gave false evidence to the Leveson inquiry. Though Nicklin called those allegations extremely serious, they required more evidence.

Nicklin looked at several articles brought as evidence. Those articles included stories about Elton John and David Furnish’s baby, Sadie Frost’s pregnancy and Prince Harry’s previous relationships. In one article, the Daily Mail’s Royal Editor wrote that the Duke of Sussex faced a lonely New Year’s Eve without his girlfriend, Cressida Bonas.

Judgment Was Very Disappointing!

Prince Harry claimed that it was creepy and he didn’t know that the newspapers had obtained information about the couple’s separate whereabouts. Justice Nicklin said that though Prince Harry found the article intrusive, suspicion isn’t proof. During the trial at the beginning of the year, he became emotional while talking about the impact of the articles on himself. It has made the life of Meghan an absolute misery.

Meanwhile, other public figures also came forward with the claims, but Associated Newspapers denied all the allegations. After the statement of the judge, Sir Simon has described it as very disappointing. Prince Harry said in a joint statement with Baroness Lawrence that the judgment represented a complete reversal of the position which previous judges have taken in relation to the hacking claims brought against the Newspapers.

A spokesperson for the publisher described it as an overwhelming victory. The Duke of Sussex smiled and gave a thumbs up to the crowd while stepping into his car following an Invictus Games event on Tuesday afternoon. Share your opinions about it in the comments.
