Sonny Baldwin has been playing a dangerous game in Home and Away, leaving his loved ones worried for him. Next week, things will take a darker turn when a newcomer will fuel the troubled man’s addiction by giving him illegal performance enhancers.
Now the question remains: Will Sonny’s new addiction cost him more trouble, and how will his loved ones react to the news, and will they be able to save him from this dangerous game on time?
Tane Parata Places Strict Limits On Gym Workouts
Sonny gets angry about the slow progress of his leg rehabilitation after a horrific train crash. Hence, he repeatedly ignores professional physical therapy guidelines, which forces John Palmer to recruit gym owner Tane Parata to design a highly restricted workout regimen.
However, instead of resting, Sonny illegally breaks into the fitness centre for an after-hours session. Also that’s when he becomes the prime suspect in a local surf club robbery investigation. Initially, David drops the criminal charges after Remi defends his character. But the close call does not stop the risky behaviour.
Later when the rule-breaker returns to the business the following morning, Tane imposes a strict one-hour daily training limit under direct supervision. But this causes friction when Tane cuts a session short due to overexertion. Also, now Sonny is stuck using a crutch and is completely desperate for an alternative way.
Shady Newcomer Beau Offers A Dangerous Medical Shortcut In Home and Away
Soon, a mysterious gym-goer named Beau sees the heated argument and he approaches Sonny outside. Well, he is smart enough to play on Sonny’s impatience. And he suggests that a powerful chemical supplement will easily accelerate muscle recovery without requiring extra hours on the gym floor.
Initially, Sonny was not sure about buying illegal performance enhancers. But soon, he pockets the dealer’s phone number and then goes on a surprise date with Dana Matheson. However, during the romantic evening, Sonny feels embarrassed when he stumbles while trying to stand. Hence, Dana cancels their wine bar plans.
Later, he calls the dealer and secretly receives a hidden bottle of pills during a shady car window transaction. Also, Remi Carter sees this all but Sonny claims he’s just a friend. Next, we will see the troubled man completely ignoring the safety risk and swallowing the first pill when Dana leaves for work.
