After 13 years of being away from Home and Away, actor David Jones Roberts looks world apart than how we had seen him After moving to America, the actor has now settled in Los Angeles and lives a rather high life. The 34 year old Australian actor who played the character of Xavier Austin on Home and Away has been away for a long time now.
The actor first debuted on the show in 2008 but didn’t stay put. He left the show in 2012 after his final episode aired. After exiting from the soap back in 2012, the actor had taken to social media to thank his fans. In a tweet he posted back then, the actor thanked her fans for their continued support for all the years. He says that he truly wouldn’t be where he was without his fans.
Leaving acting behind, the actor has now turned into a property developer and cooks out of passion. In fact, he shares a lot of his cooking videos on social media. These hobbies have earned him the title of- “hottest chef in America.” So much so, the fans of the actor often take onto the comments section to appreciate his cooking skills and good looks.
One of the fans recently commented on one of his posts, saying- “Looking delicious, sauce looks good too.” Another person commended on his perfect chef skills. A third person says- “Oh my goodness the hair!! Yes chef!”
Revealing what he does, the former actor calls himself a property developer/ wonder. He has added the links of his Airbnb listings on various platforms which look truly beautiful. Ever since he left Home and Away, the actor has seen different times. He once, in 2018, told everyone that he felt love to be alive. While he was on his way back from somewhere, on his motorbike, he crashed into a car and went flying.
This accident led to a leg injury and a long surgery to be able to walk again. The star is still not ready to return to soap operas it seems and his life does look realy different from what it would have been like were he still on the show.
