Brax’s Legacy Is Tarnished In Home and Away
Brax finds himself at odds with his own legacy this week. The returnee discovers that the River Boys have transformed from a brotherhood into a gang of local tyrants. Also, the former leader wants to set a better example for his son. However, the deep-seated “Blood and Sand” culture proves difficult to escape. Hence, this leads to a violent confrontation leaving Ricky fearing for their family’s safety.
The returning resident becomes disappointed when he sees the current crew’s iteration harassing Mackenzie Booth. Later, Leah Patterson reveals the extent of the gang’s intimidation tactics. This includes their past treatment of Theo Poulus. When Brax learns all of this, he is infuriated by what his old group has become.
Elsewhere, Sherlo shattered the family day at Mangrove River with Ricky and young Casey. He is the new aggressive face of the River Boys. Initially, to protect his son from the conflict, Brax swallows his pride. However, next, the boys behave ruthlessly. This finally pushes him to his breaking point.
This culminated in a terrifying brawl at Mangrove River. Sensing her partner’s growing unrest, Ricky rushes to the scene. However, there she finds Brax surrounded and fighting Sterlo. Later, she breaks up the fight and takes her partner away. But the damage is done. Young Casey has now witnessed the violence his parents moved to the outback to avoid.

Later, the River Boys show no signs of backing down. At this point, the veteran’s advice will be crucial to deciding whether the Braxton family can find a permanent home in the Bay. Meanwhile, will the family be hounded out by the very monsters Brax helped create?
