Bree Faces Her Decision In Home and Away
Bree has been sitting with the offer from Doctors Without Borders for a while. And this time it feels different to her. She looks around the Bay and realises that nothing is stopping her from taking it. She even tells Remi because she feels he should know about it. However, the moment she shares it, she sees that his face falls. Moreover, Remi asks her to stay.
However, she did not expect him to react that way. However, Remi was hoping that they might get back together someday. He thought time would bring them back to the same place. Bree listens to him. However, she is sure that she doesn’t want any pressure from the past. Moreover, she reminds him that they are not together. And that she is not responsible for holding back her life for him. And their conversation makes her feel uncomfortable.
Later, Remi tries to convince her that her hesitation means something. He even asks her to look at why she keeps pausing before making the final call. Then Bree walks away, but those thoughts have surrounded her mind. Later, she messages him and asks to meet again. Remi thinks that the talk will go his way. However, Bree tells him that she is still taking that job. Even though Remi tries to support her, he is disappointed. He is hurt realising that their story ends here.
Remi Moves Ahead While The Bay Shifts Around Him
When Bree makes her choice, Remi focuses back on his record label, which he had just started. Eddie Shepherd is his first artist. And Remi tries to guide him through the preparations for a performance at Salt. Elsewhere, Mackenzie hasnt approved the show yet. Despite this, Remi pushes ahead. He hopes that the work will make the day easier.
Elsewhere, even Eden is disturbed by Bree’s decision. She looks at Bree choosing a new path and Remi building something solid. She then realises her own life is empty. Then she tells Cash that she feels like she isnt moving forward with anything. She even says that she feels like a “wife with an empty future.”
